- I'm using acrobat reader on a 2019 Macbook pro running Monterey. The reader uses my computer's built in voices to read. The problem is most of the voices have very pronounced subtone harmonics sounding with them making it sound like a broken SciFi computer. When I run my computer's built reading function the voices sound normal. Adobe Acrobat, however, is designed in such a way that my computer's built reader doesn't function inside of it. I therefore am forced to us adobe's reader, which mucks up the voices. It is unlistenable through the computer's built-in speakers. How can this be fixed?
