Read Out Loud doesn't work for Mac OS Mojave using Adobe Reader 11.0.13

When I try to use the drop down menu for Adobe Reader's View>Read Out Loud>Read this Page, it doesn't work. On occasion it gives garbelled speech.

Try it in Reader DC.

You can either update it to DC following, Adobe Reader>help>check for update or directly install Adobe Reader DC through this link: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution
