Reader crashes when Find is used

New Here ,
Nov 15, 2016 Nov 15, 2016

Of late when I use the Find and provide a word to search, The enclosed message is displayed and later Reader stops working.   The message is "C:\Windows\system32\MSVCR110.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.  Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.   Error status 0xc000012f"

The path etc are in caps in reality, though I have written in lower case.

I tried repair for this dll based on the advice in adobe site.  It did not help.  I then uninstalled and reinstalled the Visual C++ redistributable 2012 Update 4.  Then also no improvement.

Please help.

Hi Ganeshshivashankar,

Thanks for sharing the work flow.

Could you please try installing Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual studio 2013 through-   Download Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 from Official Microsoft Download...

Or if you have already installed it then try repairing it.

and see if that helps you resolving the problem.

Let us know if that doesn't work.

Regards,

Akanchha
