Reader DC for Mac does not keep connection to Google drive

The reader DC on my Macbookpro does not keep connection to Google Drive.

Even once it was granted for permission to my Google account for viewing and editing whatever, after around 1 hour, suddenly got logged out from the account and I have been kept enforcing to make a re-logging in procedure to grant the permission.

I think it looks not a proper movement. Does anybody have the same problem, and solution?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. I hope you would be able to fix it by now.

If the issue still exists, please try to unlink the google drive storage form the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/access-google-drive-files.html  and reboot the computer once and link the google drive storage again and check if that helps.

Regards

Amal

Hello Amal,

Unfortunately that way has not helped. Still, the system keeps unlinking from the google drive after some time even though the google side has the setting to allow for Adobe reader.

Glad to hear another solutions if you know.

Hi there

We are sorry to hear that. Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described in the help page - https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792...

You may also try  to create  a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.

Regards

Amal
