Reader DC not combining files

We just upgraded from Acrobat reader 11.010 to Reader DC. We are getting complaints that the new version does not allow users to combine files. They are prompted to purchase the Pro version. Did Adobe take away this option in the new version and make it a paid enhancement? Thanks in advanced.

Acrobat Reader has never had that ability. If they could do that, then they had one flavor or another of the full version of Acrobat.
