Quite simply, my Adobe Acrobat reader doesn’t work!
When I open a PDF, Abode flashes up on the screen for less than half a second and then closes. I cant access any PDFs. I cant view any Adobe Acrobat files.
I tried to delete Adobe from my PC, it wouldn’t let me!!
I tried to re-boot, nothing changed.
I tried to re-install Adobe Acrobat Reader, and it says its already installed (after it installed a whole bunch of other rubbish that I dont want or need like Chrome!)
Somebody...
Please help me!!!!!??
You can try using this tool to first remove all traces of Reader from your computer:
http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
Then, you can download the full offline Reader installer from
http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
After downloading, restart your computer and run the installer before doing anything else.

That link leads to a page of instructions impossible to follow, and I can't even find the first thing it asks me to. How can this be so hard?

Hello @allison_7556
Both links open perfectly on our end. Is your computer managed by IT and equipped with firewalls? Try switching browsers and your network connection, then check again. You can also try opening the link on your mobile device. If it’s a personal computer, restart both your computer and the network router, then try again.
Thanks,
Anand Sri.

Click on the link: https://adobe.ly/3SW4mcz?
From the left section: select the Operating system, i.e., Windows or Mac, and then click on the Download section. Download the setup. Run it, and follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the current app. Then use this link to download the free Acrobat Reader app: https://adobe.ly/4lf9btA
Thanks,
Anand Sri.

Hello @allison_7556
Thank you for sharing the screenshot and other details. As mentioned earlier, the link is active and working.
Could you please try changing the Browser and the network connection type if it is a personal computer? If it is an IT-managed machine, please contact the IT team, as it seems to be an access issue.
To troubleshoot issues on a personal computer, try the following steps: restart the machine, switch to a different web browser, and change your network connection type. You can connect to a mobile hotspot, switch to a LAN connection, or try using a guest Wi-Fi network. Additionally, try opening the links on your mobile device using its cellular network.
Thanks,
Anand Sri.
