Reader Issues with New PC

On a new laptop I have just converted a PDF to excel and all appears well until I try and open the converted file.  The file shows a size of 56kb but is blank when I open it? If I email this "blank" file to a colleague he can open it and read the fully converted file!

any ideas please?

What did you use to convert the pdf to Excel? Adobe Reader doesn't do that.

Have always used reader and worked fine till now

Reader has never been able to convert files. Are you sure you were't using Adobe Acrobat (the full version) or were paying for the online cloud services? If so, which one? We'll try and get you into the proper forum.
