Reinstall on each restart MAC

I have been plagued by the same issue for months. Probably a simple fix if you know how. Each time I shut down my Macbook and then restart I am asked to go through a three step install process for Adobe reader. Really annoying. Why doesn't it mount permanently like other programmes? Any ideas gratefully received. Thanks.

Somehow you have placed the link to start the install of Reader in the options to Start with the system. IIRC that is somewhere in the OS X preferences.

Really sorry. I've posted to the wrong forum I think. The reinstall message I get regards Adobe Flash player and the message I get every time I re-open my Mac is:

“Install Adobe Flash Player” is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?

I'll try and re-post in the right place, but if you have any insight that would be great.
