release 21.007.20095 installed itself, I cycled the computer now get error message on every new file

message is accrobat has encounter a problem, some features may not work as expected.

 

In fact no features are working as expected.

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that. As described, no features are working as expected.

 

Would you mind elaborating what feature you are trying to use? A small video of the steps you are doing would be super helpful in understanding the issue better.

 

Are you on Mac or Windows OS and what is its version? Please try to repair the installation (Win Only) from the help menu and reboot the computer once and see if that works.

 

If it still doesn't work, please remove the application using the acrobat cleaner tool -https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html  reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the link - https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ and see if that helps.
