I regularly use adobe reader on android phone and I upload my books to free cloud and highlighted the points on it but today when i open the books which are uploaded to cloud first the reload and when they open all of my highlighted points from books are removed.
This generally happens only when the file is not saved correctly. As you have highlighted the text in the PDF on an Android device, check if the text still shows as highlighted on the device. If not, there is not much that can be done.
Ensure you save the PDF after highlighting the text and then upload it to Cloud storage.
