Removing an invalid signature

Hi there,

I'm having trouble removing an invalid signature from my PDF document. I'm reusing a document I signed last year so the signature is mine, but I deleted my Adobe account before creating a new account. Because the account I used to sign is no longer active, the signature doesn't have a valid ID certificate and won't allow me to validate or delete the signature to resign the document.

Since I'm using the free version of the app, is there a way I can delete the signature or validate it again?

This is the error message I get when trying to delete the signature.

Hi @jenna-lee_0394

As you have removed the ID, so deleting the signature will not be allowed in the document as it would be like tampering of the document. You can validate it by trusting the certifcate again. After the certificate is trusted, it should ideally show as validated. Let me know for any issue you are facing in doing so.
