Whe I try to open Adobe Reader it interrupts with a sales message and won't allow me to continue to read. How to over ride this message

It seems you have installed Adobe Acrobat which is a paid product and needs subscription while Adobe Reader is a free app where you can read pdfs without having to login or purchase.

Please let me know how you installed Adobe Acrobat on your machine and screenshot of the sales message
