Save software to disk

My internet connection at home is almost non-existent.

I need to download/install flash and reader, is there a way to download and save to a thumb usb drive (say from work, we have lightning fast service) and then install at home?

Sure. You can download the full installer from here: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions

Keep an eye out for the "optional offers", though...
