scan to computer using hp officejet 6600 all in printer to adobe reader dc in win 10

have Officejet 6600 all in one printer. use win 10. want to scan directly to adobe reader dc . have set scanner to pdf. but when scan finished it saves in my documents. .if I use auto document feeder it shows as scan #1, #2, #3 , etc. want to have several pages show as 1 scan.  how to set to scan directly to adobe reader dc

You can't scan to Reader, not exactly. Reader doesn't scan.

The scan has to complete, and make the PDF. It might then open that PDF, which may use Reader. So this is entirely up to what your scanning software does. I've looked in the scanner manual, and it is silent on whether you can do this, so poke around the options to see what you find.
