Screen not updating (at all) for Acrobat Reader DC - like, can't scroll, type, etc.

I've tried before and never got an answer.  Previously there was a problem with screen stutter - if I scrolled down, the document never appeared, and the last line was repeated over and over.  Never got an answer on why or what I might be able to do about it.  Now, the screen flat out does not update at all.  If I minimize and maximize it, the document in the view appears.  Min and Maxing it is not a viable solution - especially when filling out forms.  I can't see what I'm typing on forms until I min and max it - correcting errors is nearly impossible.

Any Ideas?

I see you are on Windows 8.1 but never told us your Reader version. What is it? You say your video drivers are “up to date”. What is your video card and driver version?

Please never just say you have the latest version, as problem so often come from updstes failing.
