Select Tool as Default in Acrobat Reader DC 2015

How can I make Select Tool as default while using Acrobat DC 2015? My system is windows 10 pro onto an i5 Surface Pro 4.

If you are referring that you are not able to make the Select tool as default in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, this is an already known issue.

I've upgraded to Acrobat Reader 2017 and the issue still remains.

I'm having the same issue with Acrobat Pro 17. I was able to set the default on my old computer with this same program but when I updated my computer last week I have been unable to set my default to the selector tool.

My issue resolved after doing a repair from the help menu and restarting my computer.
