Hi cagri_6991,

Thank you for reaching out.

It is a weird behavior. Please share more information about the issue. If possible, share the screen recording of the behavior.

Did you check if the issue occurs on all files? Please share the steps you do to select the area.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hello @cagri_6991!

I hope you are doing well.

Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 25.001.20458 Planned update, Apr 15, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and check. For more information, see this: https://adobe.ly/4ioEgZK

Try the following steps and let us know if that works for you:

Disable Automatic Scrolling: Press Ctrl + Shift + H to toggle automatic scrolling. This shortcut enables or disables the auto-scroll feature in Adobe Reader.

Adjust Page Display Settings: Navigate to View > Page Display and ensure that it Enable Scrolling is selected. Alternatively, try switching to Single Page View see if the issue persists.

For testing purposes, disable the app's enhanced security. Go to Menu > Preferences > Security (Enhanced). Uncheck Enable Protected Mode at startup and Enable Enhanced Security. Click OK and restart Adobe Reader. Please enable the security settings after the test.

You may try a clean installation using the Acrobat Cleaner tool to remove the installed Acrobat Reader, restart the app, and install Acrobat Reader. If the issue persists, please share a quick screen recording and the logs from the affected machine with us for further investigation.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
