signing a fillable form on Adobe reader

I am trying to sign a fillable form on the Adobe reader but it isn't going through. I can fill the form and do everything else but sign the form. I also clicked the "fill and sign" option but it still isn't allowing me sign. What do I do?

You may try signing the pdf using Digital Signature. Below is the link which explains the procedure:
