Hi Robinab,

We apologize for the delay in response to your query. Are you still looking for the resolution to this or managed to find the solution by now?

In case you are still haven't been able to sign the PDF you may check the following steps-

As mentioned, you are able to create the Signature but can't add it to the PDF, does it happen with all the PDFs you are trying to sign or any specific one?

  • If its a one PDF then it must be the secured document, which doesn't allow you to sign it. You can check the document's propertied, Open PDF>right click "Document Properties">Security> Signing Allow or not.
  • If you are experiencing this problem with multiple PDFs, then you may update your Adobe Reader to the most recent version.

Adobe Acrobat official update (19.012.20034) is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat. If you want, you may also manually trigger the update early by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates

DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products

Hope the latest patch has fixed this issue for you.

Thanks,

Akanchha
