When attempting to download either:

ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/AcrobatDC/1800920044/AcroRdrDCUpd1800920044.msp

ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/AcrobatDC/1800920050/AcroRdrDCUpd1800920050.msp

Our on-prem SonicWALL security appliance is terminating the download at about 60MB every time with an error that the file contains a Trojan horse virus.

I have submitted a support incident with SonicWALL but I just wanted to bring this up here.

With the recent distribution channel attacks on legitimate software, I am worried that the Adobe FTP site may have been compromised.

I have downloaded both files using other means and scanned them in 3 other AV products which found no issues. So hopefully this is just a false positive in the SonicWALL product.

Has anyone else had any issues with AV hits on these files?

Thanks
