Im tagging a document, and when i run the checker, it says I have untagged content. However, the highlighted elements are page spaces. What do I do?

Hi @alexa_1885,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with creating accessible documents.

The warning about untagged content often highlights blank areas, decorative lines, or white space, which typically don’t require tagging.

You might want to try the steps shared below:

  1. Open the Tags pane (View > Show/Hide > Navigation Panes > Tags).

  2. Then open the Content pane (View > Show/Hide > Navigation Panes > Content).

  3. Find and right-click the untagged content in the Content pane.

  4. Select “Create Artifact”.

  5. Choose Type as "Background" (or appropriate), and click OK.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Souvik.
