Stop _SyncLog icon from appearing on desktop

How to remove Adobe Reader icons _SyncLog and GPU from desktop that appear after after using Quicken? Tried "hiding" the icons and tried the fix below, but neither worked. Thank you.

 

"Remove the application using the Acrobat Cleaner Tool  (https://labs.adobe.com/down belowloads/acrobatcleaner.html)

Reboot the computer

Reinstall the application using the link (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/acrobat-downloads.html )"
