Hello,

I manage IT in a company. I have a really strange problem on 1 PC with acrobat reader.

Sometimes on this PC it is impossible to enter 2 at the keyboard in acrobat reader, and only in acrobat reader.

In any other software (word,...) I have no problem.

Does somebody had a similar problem ?

Anthony A.

Hello,

Thanks for your help. My user was in holidays. It seems problem disappeared. An update of Adobe Reader has been installed so may it corrected the problem. Keyboard was changed before that.

Hi @anthonya62251760

Hope you are doing well.

As per the issue description, you are not able to use 2 sometimes. Would you mind sharing a few more details to understand the issue better?

  1.  Is it happening with a specific PDF?
  2. OS name and version?
  3. Application version?

Make sure that the app is updated to the latest version.

We are looking forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks,

Harsh

Hello Harsh,

Thank you for your reply.

It is happening with any PDF file, not only 1 file.

This PC has W10 21H1 and use last version of Acrobar reader (22.001.20117.0).

There is no problem with other software.

Anthony.

Hi Anthony,

Thanks for providing the details.

Kindly try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Try repair installation from the help option from the menu bar.

3. Try resetting preferences. Refer this help article for the same: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Harsh

You also should consider that such symptoms can be caused by faulty hardware as well. Just try another keyboard to verify the symptom doesn't occur again with it.
