I am using a Surface Pro 3 and using Adobe Reader DC...  I have an editable fill in the blank form that is a .pdf file I have open.   When I click on any of the fields that I want to enter text into, If I'm using my keyboard or onscreen keyboard the text that I enter goes into the form.  The problem is when I try and use the pen input, in the same field area, I can use the pen input and the word that I want to go into the form appears but when I select to enter the word onto the form, it disappears and doesn't go in the form.  I've tried every possible option after writing the word with the pen, in the pen input area and every time the word disappears when I go to enter it.

Any suggestions please.
