When one of my users tries to print to PDF, she just gets these errors and then the pdf opens and it is a blank document. It is updated and we have restarted twice. She can't print as an image as suggested in some posts. She is in Compliance and some jurisdictions will not accept an image. She said this just started happening yesterday.
Can someone help me out?

Seems to me that maybe the September 14th update may have caused this error to start happening.

Hi
I am having same issue past few days with Acrobat & Reader DC on Windows 10.
I have tried everything on here, update, repair and so on... but no luck. No issue with files or printer I as I can print them if I open on browser but not with from DC and have 2 printers Brother and HP.
I am getting frustrated as it's slowing me down to get anything printed.

Having the same issue on Windows 10 with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and also the free Adobe Reader DC. When sending a print jobs to our Xerox 6204 we're getting the same error. Seems to have started with this update of 2021.007.20091. Tested yesterday on a computer that didn't get the latest update and it printed fine, as soon as I updated to 2021.007.20091 it had the same error as the other computer

Facing exactly the same issue as you are. Printing file as image is not option for me too.
They tried to tweak ceratin setting but it doesn't last long. The moment pc is switched and switched on after the tweakings, the problem crops up again.
Moreover, rollingback of update also didn't worked in my case. Tried repair and reinstallation also but no use.

I think i just cracked it, solution may seem weired but u can give it a try.
do whatever you do in print dialogue box, i mean settings, page size, scaling etc. but before u click on Print Button, just click the page setup button on the left hand side bottom corner n click ok. After that just hit print
compiled my certain files just now

Wow. That's really weird, as you say, but it does seem to work for me in Acrobat Reader DC.
I guess when one closes the page setup pop-up window it resets something that's causing the problem. How did you stumble across that?
Hopefully Adobe will fix it properly, but for now at least I have a work-around. Many thanks.

Don't know gavin, after 3 days of chat session with adobe customer support yielding no results, but i noticed one thing that during one of those sessions, everything seem to work quite smoothly. it was only after switching off my pc and restarting it caused the problem again, as i follow the regular regime for printing file as ctrl+p n hit enter. thats when i tried several permutation n combinations as i was very sure there was nothing wrong with my files and some of worked during the support sessions, so there has to be something causing the issue. so it was just pure luck and perseverance.
I'm glad that it did work out for you also.

The problems seems to come and go. It also seems to print in odd positions on the sheet when you can get it to print. What appears to help slightle is to set all of your settings exacly. Page size, output size etc. Its absurd that we are not getting any assistance from Adobe

Great workaround, but Adobe needs to fix this. Still happening a year after the October 2021 update. @_AdobeSupport_

I have a variant of this problem with Acrobat Reader DC 2021.007.20091 trying to print on a Brother MFC-6890CDW over the network from a PC running Windows 10. Normal printing onto A4 paper works ok, but if we try to print A3 we get the error as reported and a blank sheet of A3 is ejected from the printer. It was working fine on 14 September. I thought it might be due to Windows security or feature updates (which have been installed in the last few days) but I see the update to this version of Acrobat Reader was on 15 September, so I'm guessing that's the problem. It won't let me uninstall it, so I can't check.

Hi There,
Thanks for providing the details regarding the issue here.
We're working on providing a permanent fix for the same.
In the meanwhile, Instead of changing the page size from PrintProperties, one can change from 'Page Setup' from bottom left corner in the PrintMenu; then the PDF can be printed to a greater size as well without any error observed
Please feel free to reach us anytime.

We have already tried that and we need the file to print to exact size. There are an array of problems from blank sheet, to position on sheet problems, sizing problems. The whole PDF print driver seems to be corrupted. The only work around that is currently working is to create a prnt hold queue, and set up all options in the device itself.

Just to say that I have installed the update and it has fixed the problem I was experiencing: at least on the first PC...
If I have any further problems I'll let you know, but for now: thanks and all the best!

Argh! I've checked again because more people seem to be experiencing similar problems and the bug has returned: I get a couple of pop-up error boxes and a blank sheet of A3 paper. The work-around still works (click on page setup and ok) but how has a bug that was fixed in October last year suddenly reappeared? Given that it was fixed before, it must be possible to identify the problem and fix it again. This makes me nervous about configuration control at Adobe. The only other situation of which I'm aware this happens (bugs being fixed and then coming back again) is Samsung SmartSwitch, which has been plagued with a bug that affects Outlook sync that's been "fixed" two or three times now, each time reoccuring with a subsequent release. The difference there is that one has more control over which versions and updates are installed, so one can regress to one that works until another fix is done. With Acrobat Reader that doesn't seem to be possible.

I started having this problem last week, at the beginning of July 2022. I have printed thousand of drawings to fit 11x17 format, and now all of the sudden I can't. However, I can print them to 8 1/2" x 11" which does not comply with our specifications for Engineering projects.
I have tried to see if there is an update, but there isn't one.
Thank you.
SOMEONE PLEASE tell me how this can be resolved. I need to be able to print our drawings in PDF to 11x17.
