Hi, When opening the pdf of a book chapter in Acrobat Pro DC (v 2015.010.20056) that I downloaded from our university library, I am getting the following error message:

"There was an error opening this document. There was a problem reading this document (11)."

When I select the pdf file, I can see the contents of the document, and even scroll through in view only mode on the Finder on my Macbook Pro. But when I try to open the file, I get the error message above. I can open the file with Adobe Digital Editions, an ebook reader that I have installed on my computer, so there doesn't seem to be a problem with the file. I have also gone into the preferences on Adobe Pro and turned off the Enhanced Security feature, but this doesn't help either.

Why can't I open this file with Adobe Pro DC?

Thanks!!!

Problem solved. I simply closed Acrobat Pro and then reopened it, which resolved the problem. If this had failed, I would have tried a full reboot. One of the documents that I had open in Acrobat must have been causing the problem. A reboot solved it!!!
