I have a PC that the hard drive failed and now I am installing Adobe on a new hard drive. When I try to activate it says that I have "Too Many Activations." I have no means of deactivating the adobe on the old PC. How do I correct this?

You will need to call Adobe customer service. You are in the forum for the free Reader which doesn't require activation.

Thanks for the reply. I was not aware I was in the free Reader forum. I called Adobe customer service and they say that my version is too old for support and I have to post in the forums.

I think they were wrong. Contact them again and say that you're interested in an activation reset, before saying anything else.

If they refuse to help you ask for a supervisor.
