I am simply trying to download Adobe Reader DC on my computer but this S mode won't let me.  Can someone give me step by step instructions on how to circumvent it?  It must be really elementary steps too.

Thanks in adv~

When you refer to “S mode” are you indicating that you are running Windows 10S, Microsoft's ill-fated attempt to provide a walled-garden environment that prevents you from downloading and installing any software that isn't in the Microsoft store?

If so, the solution is to replace Windows 10S with Windows 10 Pro (or at worst, the more brain-dead Windows 10 Home). Windows 10S won't let you install Adobe Reader or Acrobat (or most other useful software that isn't in the in the Microsoft Store.

Sorry!

This cannot be circumvented. That's the whole point of it, to protect you both from attacks and your own decisions. It can't be circumvented, only turned off (forever).
