Trouble Scanning with Espon PDF will not open

Just recently I'm unable to scan a document using Epson Scan as PDF file.  I get the following error does anyone know what is wrong?  I have scanned many items with this program in the past.

Abbyy fine reader will be terminated:

Abbyy licensing service is unavailable:  The RPS server is unavailable.

Please contact your system administrator to solve this problem.

You might need to contact Abbyy support to resolve the issue as this forum addresses the issue related to Adobe Acrobat Reader.
