I opened a new letter on my Mac from a company I work with, and Adobe changed it to a difficult to read font, with random lines with yet a different font. I even opened a 2 year old letter and it changed that one too. Why did it do that and how can it be corrected?

Why is there not a phone number I can call?

I spent almost 3 hours on the phone with Apple about this, and they cannot help me.

If by "Adobe" you mean the free Acrobat Reader there is no free tech support, and hence no phone you can call. Is that what you are using? What version exactly?
