Unable to add controls to a mp4 video inserted in a pdf document (Adobe Acrobat Pro DC)

Hi!
I come to ask for help. (This message has 4 attachments)
I have the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (Version 2020.013) updated.
When I add a video in mp4 format I don't see the controls for play, pause, stop.
When I go to the "Controls" tab, the "hide-controls" option is activated and gray and I cannot add any controls.
When I insert videos I can only view them (when I click on them with the mouse) and stop them (via the context menu), which is very complicated because sometimes I need to pause.
Hope I was clear.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for all the help:
Health for all.

Hi

Thank you for sharing the screenshots. The media file that you have been trying to add into the PDF, is it a Flash media (*.flv and *.swf) content?

If yes, then try adding a different/other media supported format and see if you have all the required options available or not.

If it still doesn't help, then send us the file and video file that you have been trying to embed. For file share, you can upload it to the Document cloud and share the link with us.

Thanks,

Akanchha

Hi!

Thank you very much for your quick and nice reply.

The video is an mp4 file.

No worries.

All the Acrobat/Reader DC users have access to Adobe Document Cloud web service. You can upload your file here https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/home/ and copy-paste the link on community.

An easier options is to upload to your Google- drive or any other cloud storage you use and share the link with us.

Meanwhile, you may try changing the following preferences setting within Acrobat DC-

Acrobat DC>Edit>Preferences>3D & Multimedia> Uncheck "Use flash player for playing 3D and multimedia content">OK>close and re-open Acrobat

Thanks,

Akanchha

Hi!

Thank you so much for your quick and gentle reply.
I tried waht you told but unfortunately I wasn't able to make it work.
The file is a simple mp4 video (by the way is called "Chemical synpase animation").

Here is a link: https://1drv.ms/v/s!AgxY72lsG27agQWhUCcKuBlgSJMK?e=SWrLqK
I think I must quit and tell others to play and stop (and alert that won't be available pause option).
You are very, very kind!
