unable to download pdf

i am trying to download some statements from my bank but every time it looks like the page is about to open it then switches to another and says something is stopping this pdf from opening and I don't know what to do as I'm not to clever on computers.

What browser do you use? More than likely, that is the culprit. Many browser do not use the Adobe Reader plug-in and that can cause problems like this. One possible workaround for linked pdf files is to right-click on the link, choose to save the pdf to your computer, open Reader then use File>Open to open the pdf. Unfortunately some banks serve their pdf files dynamically so this won't work. You'll have to try it to see.

Or, you can try a different browser like Internet Explorer to access the files.
