Unable to play audio comments in pdf made by my professor

My professor leaves audio messages on pdf, but everytime I try to listen to them I get the error: "Cannot find the appropriate player for the sound.". I have downloaded a couple of flash players already but none seem to be working. I am using macOS Catalina. Any help is appreciated.

I've seen this error before. It seems to be caused by an incompatibility between Reader DC and Catalina. I don't believe there's currently a solution for it, but make sure you're on the latest version of Reader, just in case.
