Unable to print

Trying to print a pdf, sends data to my Brother printer, but then never prints. Brother prints other documents so this is limited to PDF.

Try the following steps and see if that resolves the issue:

1- Assuming you have Acrobat Reader DC installed on the machine, try checking for updates and see if that resolves the issue, launch Reader>Help menu>Check for Updates

2- If that doesn't work, try to run Reader DC with Admin rights and try to perform the same task. Locate Reader's shortcut on the desktop>right click, select Run as administrator.

3- If step 2 doesn't work, try to disable protected Mode (for Windows), launch Reader>select Edit menu>Preferences>under Categories, click Security (Enhanced)>uncheck the box next to Enable Protected Mode at startup and then click OK.

4- If that doesn't work, try to perform the steps given in this link: Troubleshoot PDF printing in Acrobat and Reader

Please note: Disabling Protected Mode is for troubleshooting purpose only and not recommended, Please turn the feature back on after finishing the troubleshooting.

Could you please let me know the version of Acrobat Reader/Acrobat DC installed on the machine?

For ex, for Reader, launch Reader>Help menu>About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Which Operating System is installed on the machine-Windows/Mac?

Is this happening with a specific pdf or with all the pdfs?

Try printing other pdf and see if that prints with out any issue.
