Unable to scroll through media rich files

New Here ,
Sep 13, 2017 Sep 13, 2017

Hi, I am struggling with a small number of media rich files. I can scroll easily through the first 30 pages, then the reader seems to grind to a halt. I can move on slowly through the document by  scrolling down, but the images are distorted and the pages freeze for several seconds before they move. In addition the "Not Responding" sign keeps popping up in the title bar. I use a lot of media rich documents and most of them work perfectly. I am indebted to "Adobe" for providing such excellent software, but this issue seems to be an aberration . I have tried deleting the files and downloading new copies, and I have tried the "help" pages, but I cannot find a solution. Please help.
