How do I view two separate PDF files at the same time? It seems when I open two files, I can go back and forth between them, but cannot open and put them up together on the desktop.

Hi Mouser,
If I understand your query correctly, you would like to open the two documents as new tabs on same window of Adobe Acrobat Reader application?
or you want to see them on two different windows of application?
You may change the settings accordingly-
Go to Edit>Preferences> General> Check "Open documents as new tabs in the same window"

Let us know if this isn't what you were looking for.
Regards,
Akanchha

That is not exactly what I want. I have that Edit>Preferences>General>Check “Open documents as tabs in the same window” already selected. All that does is open two documents, but doesn’t allow me to see both of them on the screen SIDE BY SIDE at the same time. I still have to tab from one to the other and each time I do that, the other one disappears. I want to put two documents up side by side so I can compare one with the other. There is a “compare” function that does put both documents together, but I think it is doing it so I can actually edit both documents. But I ONLY want to look at each document side by side with no markings.
