VIRTUALIZED Windows server 2019 - Acrobat Reader incompatibility ?!

Hello everyone.

I have a hard  problem of Acrobat Reader DC (the free version on Adobe site on https://get.adobe.com/it/reader/) on a virtual machine running windows server 2019.

The installation (on Administrator account) seems to be correct but the files do not open (after double clicking) : Windows correctly recognize the .pdf files...... however when I try to open them (with a "double click") I see the "wheel" spin for a few seconds and then nothing happens.

Also: when I try to launch the program by clicking on the Adobe icon on the Desktop ..... nothing happens .. no page or anything opens. the program does not seem to start

All services seem to have started but despite numerous attempts, even with Adobe assistance, we have not been able to understand where the problem is.

It seems that at the end of the installation some files are absent in the destination folder of the program (!?) and for this reason every attempt of installation and subsequent uninstallation is useless.

is it possible that Acrobat Reader is not compatible and virtualized on Windows server 2019?

Anyone can help me?

thanks to all.
