I need to have version 8 or higher. I currently have Adobe Pro. Thought I had updates automatic with my account.

It's extremely unlikely you have a version earlier than 8. If this is an error message you're getting make sure to save the file locally and then open it in Acrobat. Do not open it directly in your browser.

Hi @Henry30159916znrr

We assume you are trying to open a pdf file and getting the following message ''Please wait. The document you are trying to load requires Adobe Reader 8 or Higher.'

If you are getting this message while viewing a pdf in a browser, you are most likely trying to open a Dynamic XFA (XML Form Architecture) PDF. To view such pdf documents, we recommend you to download the file locally and open it either in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat.

Let us know if that helps!

Marking a reply or response “Correct” will help future users with the same issue quickly identify the correct answer.

Thanks,

Akanchha
