Why can't I print a pdf. file on my Mac?

I was emailed two pdf files, I printed the first and the second would not print. I called my printer techs and they said since I can print everything but a pdf file it is an Adobe problem. My updates are up to date and I have tried to print older pdf files I have saved and they will not print either.

Please confirm the source of the file and if you are getting any particular error while prinitng.

You may share a screenshot for the same and confirm if its happening with all the PDF files.

Don't assumed this question answered.  I have a mac and the latest adobe reader DC. I cannot print. Reader tells me that no pages were selected.  I am using Sierra

I looked into other answers. None of them solved the problem.  Does Adobe personnel looks up these questions to see if people are finding a solution.  I tried the suggestion of eliminating security enhanced ....didn't work...

In the meantime, I just use Skim to print.  What is going on.

No Adobe don't do that. A question is automatically "assumed answered" because there was a reply and the original poster did not comment.
