Is this forum monitored by a qualified person who can finally create a new issue in internal Adobe bug tracking system?
Pinned/Running icon of Adobe Reader strangely depends on what app is used by Windows 10 to open ICO files.
If I change associated app for ICO file to "Visual Studio 2017", then Adobe Reader icon becomes white block.

If I change associated app for ICO file to "Microsoft Photos (recommended)", then Adobe Reader icon becomes Microsoft Photos icon.

If I change associated app for ICO file to "Microsoft Paint", then Adobe Reader icon becomes Adobe Reader icon.

These things should not be related, no? Is it a bug in Windows 10? ![]()
This is even a solution here Icon Adobe Reader DC on taskbar is wrong - Super User
I think Adobe should finally fix registry settings in the Adobe Reader Installer.
Or simply return to old way to create shortcuts - pointing to exe file directly.

Hi
You are the qualified person and can post the bug report to the engineers and then track it at User Voice. John gave you the link for Video, but you posted to the Acrobat forum. Try this link instead:
