why does my document do this??

when I go to search up a question this is the issue I run into. why does this happen?

Hi Clementem,

From the above screenshot, if we understand correctly  that you are unable to get the appropriate result  when you type any keyword?

Does this happen with this specific file or all the files? Check any other file if you have.

Check the application update, Launch Acrobat>Help>Check for update

Also, try the following workaround that actually helps-

  • Open up PDF file in Adobe Reader
  • Go to the top menu bar > click Edit> Preferences
  • When the Preferences box opens, select the Search under category on the left
  • Category> Search look to the bottom and click on the Purge Cache Contents box/button
  • Finally Click OK in the bottom right of Preferences and re-attempt search
  • The PDF should now be fully searchable
