Why is only one side printed so I can read it?

The product is Adobe Reader version 17.012.20095.

A PDF file that I have downloaded from the Internet, is only printed with ASCII characters

on one side.  The second side is mostly printed with print codes that make no since to me.

Why is this happening, and how can I get the Adobe Reader to print both sides so I can

read the information that has been sent to me?

I have since been able to trace the problem to a Windows 7 Printer driver.

After deleting this s/w and reinstalling it, my Printer is now doing what its suppose to.

Could be a font issue in the pdf itself causing this.

Try this, go to File>Print>Advanced and choose "Print as image" and see if that clears it up.

Hi The-Wasp,

In addition to what ~grafitti has suggested, would it be possible if you can share the pdf file with us?

You may share the link for the file using Adobe's send and Track.

Go to this link: https://cloud.acrobat.com/send

Click on Add Files > Choose Files from My Computer

Select the pdf file > Create Link

Thanks,

Shivam

I'm sorry, but going the way you suggest is new to me and I therefore

couldn't load the file of

interest there, so I added as an attachment to this e-mail.

The last time I tried to print both sides, page 1 came out OK.

But then when I tried to print page 2, my HP Printer went on strike and

refuses to print the

second side for some reason.

I tried reloading the Printer Drivers but that didn't help either.

Is there something about this .pdf file that could be the cause for my

problem?

Hi Thomas,

As suggested by ~grafitti above, this could a font issue in the pdf. Have you tried printing pdf as Image? I have shared an email address with you via private message, please send the pdf file to that email address as an attachment.

Thanks,

Shivam
