Hi Kevin,

Sorry for the delay in response to your query. Hoping that you have managed to get this worked. If you are still struggling with the same issue then help us with following information-

When I send an email with a PDF attachment the written content of the email is stripped away.

1- When you say the written content of the email is stripped away, do you mean the content of email body or content of PDF ?

2- Are you sending a PDF as attachment using Email option available for "Share" in Adobe Reader or Acrobat? Which application you are referring here and what is the exact version of it?

3- If its email body that has its content stripped away, then change your default email account to some other and check.

4- Refer to the relevant steps suggested in help article here: Attach to email option is not working | Acrobat DC, Acrobat Reader DC

Hope this works. If you have managed to find the solution, then please do share your findings.

Thanks,

Akanchha
