wont print to new printer continues to default to old printer

How do I get adobe to stop defaulting to my old printer and go to my new printer.  I select my new printer when I try to print but it doesnt print but defaults to old printer.

Go to Windows control panel and remove the old printer and make sure your new printer is set as the default
