When using the "Open with" function from Dropbox, then clicking Adobe Acrobat, takes you to Adobe Acrobat, but the Acrobat always prompts "Unable to connect to Dropbox". But always works on the 2nd run.

Hi,

Have you started experiencing this issue recently? When you open the second time, does it connects fine?

Please try the following things:

1- Sign out of Dropbox and Sign back In.

2- Update Adobe Acrobat to the latest version and see if there's any update pending. Open Acrobat>help>check for update.

3- If possible, disable and re-enable Dropbox account in Acrobat as well.

Let us know if this makes any progress.

Thanks,

Akanchha

I tried all of those steps and the issue persists.

I should clarify that this is occurring on the iPad.

And yes, it connects fine the second time.

There was a screenshot attached, which had trouble opening.

Would you mind attaching it once again to see the exact error message appear.

Hi,

Is there any update on this issue?

I am experiencing the exact same issue.

Sometimes, it takes 3 or 4 times showing up as an error before it opens the file.
Other times, it opens straight away.

Regards.
Peter

I've tried all. I have a 3rd Gen iPad Pro.

Before it was just one error and then on the second it would connect. Lately it's been a two or three before connecting.

I am also using the free version of Adobe Acrobat.
Is it possible that this could be causing the issue?
