Acrobat iOS can’t convert news article

New Here ,
May 12, 2025 May 12, 2025

When I try to convert an Apple News article to PDF, it converts only the headline.

When I'm viewing a news article, I tap the Share icon and the tap "Convert to PDF in Acrobat." It tells me: "Creating PDF. We'll let you know when it's ready."

After a short time, it says: "text(6).pdf was created and saved in Adobe cloud storage", and it says Open. I tap Open, and it opens a document in Acrobat, but the document contains only the article's headline. Below a checkmark inside a circle, it has a blue Back to Top button.

Text(6).pdf is the name it gives the file it creates. Each time I try to convert an article, the number in that file name increases by one. It creates a matching text file.

@UT-CT Adobe servers may be under maintenance, https://status.adobe.com/

Also, how are you doing this? On the iPhone, iPad or Mac? Double check the web browser or maybe try using a different browser.

I'm using an iPhone.

It's not a problem with Adobe servers. I have never gotten this to work.

Hi there,

I hope you're doing well. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

To better understand the problem, could you please share a short screen recording showing the steps you're taking and when the issue occurs?

Also, is this happening with a specific file or with all files? Please try opening a different file and see if the issue persists.

Additionally, could you let us know the version of the Acrobat app and the operating system you're using?
To check the app version, tap on the profile icon > About Acrobat. Please make sure the app is updated to the latest version from the App Store, and try rebooting your device once.

Regards
Amal

I've attached a screen recording.

This happens with every article I've tried in Apple News on the iPhone. I tap the Share icon, which brings up the available Share functions. I tap on "Convert to PDF in Acrobat," which creates a PDF containing only the article's headline. I'm not trying to convert files, just news articles. This function has never worked for me.

I'm using crobat Version 25.04.01 (20250506.203323). It updated four days ago. The operating system is iOS 18.4.1. I just now rebooted the device and forced the Apple News app closed. The problem persists.
