Acrobat Reader crashes upon opening

Brand new Ipad Pro. After last update from Itunes the app simply opens for a split second and then crashes. Even if I try opening a pdf before opening acrobat. Same process. Program opens for a split second and then program closes. Have re-installed several times and now forced to use a different pdf viewer. Acrobat works fine on my Iphone, just not Ipad.

Sorry for the inconvenience.  It is a known problem that has been fixed in Acrobat Reader 19.02.01.

Would you please go to the App Store app on your iPad and update to Acrobat Reader 19.02.01?

Well, it HAS NOT been fixed for the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Now I'm in a bind this morning as I have a project that I need to finish in just a couple hours, and ig ever since recently updating to iOS 18.5, the app crashes immediately upon opening.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, as well as soft resetting the device. It made zero difference.

PLEASE FIX THIS.

I am having the same issue and I also deleted the app and reinstalled and the latest update was installed. It opens and closes in a few seconds. I need to get my reports in. Help fix this please

Same. I have an iPad 6th generation and an iPhone 14, both were working fine yesterday but today it won't open. I've restarted both devices, deleted and reinstalled the app. Still won't open.

Looks like issue is fixed, about 6 hours later (from time I first noticed). I'm able to open Adobe on both iPad and iPhone while connected to internet (and grab a doc through Dropbox integration, my usual workflow).

Adobe pdf reader crashes when opening pdf file 104mb large, but has no problems opening smaller files. 
(adobe pdf run on 6th gen Ipad.)

I am having the same problem for the last few days.  It is 7/25/2020 since the last update.  I can't access my larger files through the app and have to email myself the PDF's to see the old saves.  Is another fix on the way?

Could you please share more details about the issue you're experiencing?

It would be helpful to know the make and model of your mobile device and the version of the Acrobat Reader app you're using. You can find the app version by tapping on the Profile icon > About Adobe Acrobat. Additionally, please check for any pending updates in the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android), and try rebooting your device once, after updating the application.

Is the application crashing with a specific file or with all PDFs? If it's just one file, please share that PDF with us, so we can take a closer look. Also, a small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue occurring would be very helpful for more clarity.

We are here for help, just need more information.

same thiing happening on my 2023 ipad pro. tried offloading up and reinstalling - didn't work. tried deleting app and resinstalling - also didn't work. Acrobat Reader will not open for more than 2 seconds

Have same effect as @Erico360: if not connected to internet (Airplane mode) then it does not crash. Have tried deleting/re-installing and rebooting multiple times -- still the crash happens when internet is on

Also same effect as @kmsfbay on my iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 18.5 -- same crashing behavior. BUT the iPhone app was working (even with internet connection) as of 90 minutes ago. So something has happened very recently that makes the iPhone app behave the same way as the iPad.
