Adobe Acrobat - Not supporting pop up image on hover feature in Android

Hi,

I have added buttons to my PDF file which helps to pop up an image when hovered over a specific text. I have done this in Adobe Acrobat X Pro version on my computer.

Now when I check the document from my android phone in Adobe Acrobat reader then it doesn't support this feature, whereas a third party app like WPS supports this feature...

It's strange that adobe itself isn't supporting this and a third party is.

Can you please roll out this feature of yours on Android phone too? Just wondering if a third party can then why can't Adobe?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for sharing your feedback.

The Acrobat Reader Mobile app is optimized for mobile-first viewing and editing experiences, which means it doesn’t support all the interactive features on PDF forms that are available on desktop. This limitation is primarily due to platform differences.

That said, your observation is completely valid—if the third-party apps are offering same capabilities, we should also explore more ways to make the experience similar between the desktop and mobile apps. You may share your feedback directly with our product engineering team here: https://adobe.ly/3GW88jn for their consideration and future implementation.
