Hi all...
Just bought an 8" Samsung Galaxy Tab A for inexpensive -- it won't kill me if lost oir stolen -- and easy travel travel transport. Unlike on our full-size iPads, the Acrobat app does not seem to display a tree of folders. It only displays all the files, merely sorted by folder. This, of course, is problematic when I have over a hundred files on the device. Organizing them in nested folders doesn't help much, if they don't display with folder levels.
Am I doing something wrong -- is there a setting I can change -- or is this a feature that needs to be improved?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Which operating system version of Android are you currently using with the Galaxy Tab A ?
Also which version of Tab A do you have?
If you have Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) with Android OS 6.0.1 Marshmallow (which is upgradeable to Android 8.1 Oreo), it is my understanding that the folder manager, or file explorer, in Marshmallow version is a hidden feature and a little tricky to access and work with.
It also doesn't interact with the Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile app showing files in tree directories or nested folders in the same fashion that you're describing.
Some features of the Adobe Reader Mobile App in iOS devices are entirely different from AndroidOS and viceversa.
For this reason, Android users normally install third-party file viewers other than the default provided with each Android version.
You can check in the Google Playstore for a file explorer that has the ability to display categorized libraries, storage, plus cloud locations automatically.
See what is more suitable for you.
