I also have this issue. Even if the Adobe Acrobat Reader app on Android doesn't have permissons to access Storage (Photos, Images etc) The app sends realtime notification and asks to convert images into PDFs. Without permissions, they shouldn't be doing this. It is against Google Play Guideliness and privacy. When the notification is clicked, the app imports the image into the Adobe Acrobat Reader app again without having permissions to access the Storage. How is this possible while it's against the policy of Google Play and Android? It's clearly a dark pattern on Adobe Acrobat Reader on Android, shame to the developers or who decided to implement this "feature" to the app. Are you aware of privacy and Google Play policies? It looks like Adobe Acrobat Reader doesn't have any respect for its users by implementing this sneaky dark pattern. They lost my trust and confidence as I have been a 10+ paid user of the Adobe CC. Please immediately solve this privacy issue and comply with Google Play and Android policies, if you don't see this as a policy issue then respect your users and stop doing this dark pattern, stop this notifications.

Hi @Michał34199150puy9 @theoryginal,

Hope you are doing well. Thank you for reporting this.

Since file access permission has been provided by you to Acrobat, we aim to enhance your experience by identifying potential document images and providing an easy way to convert them to PDFs.

You can disable these notifications by turning off the ‘Downloads’ channel in your app notification settings.

Hope this helps.
